Michael Cain, founder and managing member of the Wilmington Investor Network, LLC and Jonathan Rowe, Center for Business and Economic Services Program Director and Entrepreneurship Professor at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington present research finding in the following areas:

    About the Speakers

    Michael G. Cain, founder and Managing Member of the Wilmington Investor Network, LLC

    Cain is founder and managing partner of Wilmington Investor Network, LLC (WIN), an Angel Investment group he formed in July of 2005. WIN is a founding member of the Angel Capital Association.  Cain is also a managing partner of Cape Fear Capital, LLC, an early stage investment and merchant banking partnership based in Wilmington, North Carolina.   

    Jonathan Rowe, Center for Business and Economic Services Program Director, Entrepreneurship Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

    Rowe has been involved with the founding and growth of two technology startups and has also worked as a project manager for IBM Global Services on large scale networking projects in the U.S. and Europe. He helped build the entrepreneurship program at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and has taught undergraduate, graduate, and executive entrepreneurship courses in the United States, South Africa, Greece, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia.
